Aims
- To help all students to achieve their maximum potential
- To raise student self-esteem; so promoting both academic and personal pride
- To encourage all students to develop a reasoned set of attritudes, beliefs and moral and cultural viewpoints
- To broaden student knowledge, skills, concepts, experience and understanding so that each one may become an active participant in and reasonable contributor to our society
- To help students to understand the interdependance of individuals, groups, nations and the local enviroment, and to both comprehend and celebrate the multi-cultural nature of Sheffield society
- To raise student and community aspiration and to celebrate success at all levels
- To help students to develop healthy, fit bodies and to equip them with a wide range of physical skills
- To enable our students to "learn how to learn" and to see education as a process throughout life
- To develop student spiritual and aesthetic awareness
- To help students to develop competences needed for varying and ever-changing employment trends in a transient world
- To work with other agencies in making our school a major contributor to the development and unity of our local community
