I became the Head Teacher of Parkwood High School in September 2005. I hope that the reaons you are choosing or considering Parkwood for your son or daughter are similar to the reasons that i wanted to become the Headteacher

Above all else i would like the young people at Parkwood to feel safe, to enjoy their time at the school, to achieve their full potential, to make a positive contribution to the school community and to be able to leave the school as confident young people ready to face the challenges of adulthood.

You will find that Parkwood is a listening school. We listen to what the students say to us and we listen to parents and carers. As parents and carers you have trusted us with the education of your son or daughter. Our challenge is to work with you to achieve the best for your son or daughter. As in all partnerships there will be times when there are difficult issues that need discusiing.
