Meet Sue Powell

I have worked at Parkwood for the last 2 years. I love my job because I get to meet lots of parents, pupils and members of the community.

As many of you know I live locally. Over the years I have seen many changes in the area. My son, who is 11 years old, will soon be attending this school from September 07, as I myself did many years ago.

So this gives me lots to offer the school. Not only do I work here, I am also a parent of a pupil at Parkwood and live in this community. So I do see things from your point of view.

My Role is quite unique as I do many different things other to what other workers in similar roles do. This makes my job varied and interesting.
I am responsible for Adult & Community Learning, our Parents Group, Family Information Evenings, Family Learning and organising our Summer and Christmas Fayres. 

I am really proud about the achievements we have made at Parkwood and have to say a Huge Thank You especially to my dear friends in the parent group & all our enthusiastic pupils.
